Robinson Park
pre 2009
Nestled among the vineyards of the beautiful Barossa
Valley
Originally a U-shaped
circuit of only 350 metres, the circuit was extended in
1994, to the current 500 metres, weaving through the trees
toward the Belvidere Road side of the Barossa property.
The surface consists of the original cold-mix bitumen
leading onto the extended new hot-mix surface, both sections
having different dynamics in wet and dry conditions.
Dust. leaves and the
presence of nearby vineyards means that the circuit can be
slippery at the outset of the race meeting, grip increasing
during competition.
